Chef Rocco Pezzano was born in a small town by the ocean in the southern region of Italy. He learned his love of cooking from his mother, sister and aunt. When Rocco came to the U.S. he craved the food back home. As his passion grew, he started several concepts in Arizona from 1980-2000. Recently, with pressure from his two kids and wife, Rocco brings SFIZIO, where his love for food and fresh ingredients will be reflected in the food and experience.

SFIZIO Italian Kitchen is a family-owned and operated business, started by Chef Rocco Pezzano. Rocco brings a fresh perspective to Italian cuisine inspired by his roots growing up in a small town in the southern region of Italy. At SFIZIO, we believe there is no room for compromises in our ingredients: we only serve the best, freshest, and most authentic. Whenever possible, we use local and farm-fresh ingredients. Our food focuses on quality and authenticity, hoping to satisfy our guests' Italian cravings.
